I barely ever use the M16. I prefer the G36C, the Skorpion, the P90, the MP5, the Dragonov, the M1014, the Saw, and the M60 more than the M16.
I also don't run into the m16 a whole lot in multiplayer. I run into the P90 a lot more.
1 and 2 are really good points. When you're unable to criticize something, you are a subject to it. Criticism is how it gets better, and there were some good points; though blown out of proportion.
the first one can be worked around, but it's just stupid when they probably already have the backbone in the game to do it, it's just not implemented. Being able to turn off and on damaging objects would be a feature that could save a lot of time.
For picture uploading, yo...
CoD4 is no fun if you only use one weapon. There are certain weapons I never use, but there's at least 15 that I'll switch between depending on my mood.
this was the first comment not really bashing M$...
everything in 1.X after the OP should be deleted. What PoG did might have been hypocritical, but your responses to him make him look like a flippin angel. Especially pennywise. Conspiring to take bubbles because he disagrees with you? You haven't said a thing on topic yet.
Grow a pair or gtfo.
edit: @AB: thank you...
what a shining pinnacle of maturity this comment is...
edit: I guess I said that on the wrong playground... (I meant the comment and all it's replies. Not the comment itself)
They missed a lot of features that are better than that, so it shouldn't really matter if its subjective.
Xbox primetime and XNA community games are two huge ones that will appeal greatly to the casual market. Also, if they market it well by giving out a free month/week of netflix, a lot of people will probably pick that up too.
I wish they used a theme for the advertising though, just so we could get an idea of how themes will affect the new dashboard.
He didn't make as big a profit (despite it still being large) because he spent a ludicrous amount of time and money on the game for what it was. It's a great game, but he spent as much time as on most AAA games, and a WHOLE LOT of money.
Do you know how hard it is to port from windows to 360? in some cases it's as easy as clicking a button. It's his own financial misplanning if he doesn't release it on every platform when it's that simple. Also, his game is not too small to get a...
huzah...
I'm disgusted that anyone agreed with me if it wasn't because they noted that I was being sarcastic.
Publisher numbers don't take into account games sold, just games ordered by retailers. Also, they also take into account things that don't say anything about retail sales.
One thing I don't think they show is the profit off each console, just the revenue. It costs a lot more to develop on a PS3 (pure development not licensing) than it does for a 360.
THIS IS CLEARLY THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR THE 360! 2009 is the year of the PS3!
play b3yond.
it wouldn't be super smart not to release it on XBLA. Especially going from windows. Make it for the 360, and release it on multiple platforms. Still, I think it would be best for them to try to pick up a solid publisher now instead of staying completely indy.
don't even pretend you're any kind of decent investor with logic like that. Sony's gaming division profits are minimal compared to the rest of the company, and Sony's doing a lot worse through this slump than M$.
troll elsewheres.
if you want to make money in the short term, you shouldn't make long term investments.
Almost everything is losing money, Microsoft is losing a lot less than the market as a whole.
here it would probably fill the front page. That is if the ones about the 360 being a dead console in 2010 in response to it don't drown them out...
Sony as a company is still losing a LOT of money, and it's due in large part to their arrogance with their brand.
see the graph above if you want the proof.
M$ is doing pretty solid through all this compared to the rest of the market.

see?
And I think "WE WANT IT NOW!" is better than "THIS GAME SUCKS MEGADUCKS"
That he was insinuating that sony fan/boys tend to fall back to the same carbon copy arguments regardless of how many times they are proven wrong.
A half million dollar fighter jet is a GREAT deal, that doesn't mean everyone and their mom's is going to buy one. I'm sure right now today someone has a great clearance on industrial plastic molding machines too.
Just because it's a good value doesn't mean it's what consumers want, or that it fits into their budget.
